Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
When my friends invited me to go to Las Vegas, I didn't hesitate at all. Why not? It's Vegas, baby! We first ate heavy breakfast at Le Village Buffet at 3655. Yes, heavy breakfast. It's a buffet style meal, stomach and budget friendly restaurant. Enjoy classic French foods, buffet style. I ate waffles and egg Benedict. I wanted to try some from the Crepe Station but the line was so long. |
Lunch |
We enjoyed lunch at Burger Bar Mandalay Place. It's in Mandalay Bay at 3930 Las Vegas Blvd. They're known for delicious Kobe beef. We ordered Rossini and Special Hawaiian Sandwich served with skinny fries. Burger Bar opens at 10 am and closes at 11 pm. The Rossini worth $60 is actually worth it. There's Kobe beef, shaved truffles and sauteed foie gras. |
Dinner |
For Vegas dinner, we went to Fiamma Trattoria and Bar at the MGM Grand. It features modern Italian cuisine. I think the atmosphere is fun and the surroundings are sexy. Some of their signature dishes include Brasato, Raviolini and Branzino. You need to be in business casual attire to enter the bar. The Gnoocchi Pasta with sauteed lobster, roasted leeks and black truffle crema is just so Italian and I love it! |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
We definitely loved the beautiful tropical landscaping and stunning pools at The Mirage Pool. I enjoyed sunbathing and swimming with my friends. The Mirage is like a paradise! The pool attendants are courteous and friendly. We rented pool rafts and enjoyed the waters. Drinks are also available throughout the pool area. |
Afternoon |
Later in the afternoon, we went to The Liberace Museum. It's not another boring museum day, honestly. For just $15, we were amazed by what is in store for us there. We saw collections of jewelry, rhinestone-studded costumes, cars, pianos and more. |
Evening |
Our Vegas day would be incomplete without, well, hitting the casino. We went to Stratosphere, which also happens to be the tallest free-standing observation tower in the United States. We tried our luck at the Slots and Video poker and that's it. No excessive casino spending. |
