Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
We went to a place called Egg Works at 9355 West Flamingo Road. They have delicious egg crepes plus all your regular favorite breakfast options including skillets. I had something called a "blackened prime rib benny." Imagine a grilled croissant stacked high with blackened prime rib, sauteed spinach, roasted red peppers and poached eggs, covered in hollandaise sauce. Best eggs benny dish I have ever eaten. They also had the best home fries I have ever had anywhere. |
Lunch |
Paymon's serves yummy Mediterranean fare. Try their Fesenjan, boneless chicken breast slowly cooked with crushed walnuts in a tangy semi-sweet pomegranate sauce. |
Dinner |
Dinner at the Jazzed Cafe and Vinoteca is exquisite. The have a limited and rather simple menu but the food is very good. |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
Visit the Las Vegas Springs Preserve and see a fun approach to sustainable living. Learn all about how Vegas came to be and how we can preserve the environment through their fun and interactive exhibits and activities. |
Afternoon |
Head over to the Las Vegas Arts Factory. Located in the Gateway district, the Arts Factory features galleries and numerous work spaces for local artists. The best time to visit is during the first Friday of each month where a party event is held to showcase the local talents and arts-oriented businesses. |
Evening |
Enjoy cool jazz music, good food and fine wine at this intimate European-style Cafe. The Jazzed Cafe and Vinoteca offers a pleasant respite from the glitz and noise of Vegas. Not only is the fare good, it's also affordable. |
